In Greek mythos, Praxidice was venerated as the goddess of exacting justice. Orphic hymns exalt her as the steward of moral order through casting judgment upon those guilty of violating social norms and conventional rules. The daughter of Zeus and Themis, Praxidice is depicted as the embodiment of virtue and one of the three divine personages of Justice.

After clerking for the chief justice of the Colorado supreme court, Pete worked in the litigation department of a large national law firm before relocating to Aspen and opening his own office. Pete has attained the designation of Master Advocate with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and is listed as one of Colorado's top 100 trial lawyers with the National Trial Lawyer's Association.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Pete volunteers substantial time to the Aspen communities, as well as being an active member in a number of non-profit and charitable organizations. He previously was a member of the board of the Colorado Bar Association yld executive committee and served a six year term as chairman of the board of the Pitkin county planning and zoning commission. He served for six years as the legal director for the Colorado Whitewater Association in its efforts to promote river access and conservation.

Pete teaches trial advocacy and also volunteered substantial time as a volunteer attorney for the American Trial Lawyers Association outreach program representing families of victims of the September 11 world trade center disaster.

Pete is a former nationally ranked freestyle skier and kayaker. He is an avid musician and collector of vintage guitars.
